LHF#5: Light Up!

It seems so odd to be going through such a time of crisis without some hefty storm going on. Nothing unusual is happening outdoors. We have water and electricity. Thankfully!

Having light is important, especially now. If we were isolated and in the dark, that would be particularly challenging. Light brightens the room. It helps us to see, aids us in reading, keeps us from accidents. Hopefully!

Spiritual light is much the same. It is the opposite of spiritual darkness. It is a state of righteousness and purity. The Bible says:

God is light...
if we walk in the light,
as He is in the light,
we have fellowship
with one another...
1 John 1:5,7

This is one of the blessings of walking with God referred to in the passage: fellowship. Fellowship means community and sharing together. So I'm wondering how this works in a time of social distancing...
How can our walk with God create togetherness when we don't gather?
How can we share a bond of faith from a distance?
