The extended time we have been undergoing the effects of the coronavirus pandemic has dramatically impacted our lives. We have been dealing with change in our personal, work, church, family, social, and perhaps even academic lives. The weeks of social distancing and quarantine restrictions have brought much stress. Anxieties and tensions have been running high. At this point, the end of the pandemic is in sight. At least for now. But as we move into the "new normal" the latest concerns are about the lasting effects of all we have endured, particularly in the area of processing the ongoing stress and fear. LHF#15: God Uses the Least

In Joshua 2 the story of Rahab is told. What a unique account of God's working hand in an unlikely situation. It always amazes me that God used Rahab, the lowest of the low, a prostitute, as a part of His redemption plan. In an unlikely circumstance, an unlikely person is used to fulfill an unlikely purpose. God uses everyone to fulfill His purpose. Even now in a scary, unknown and unusual time God is at work. The following verse illustrates the reaction that Rahab had after she saw what God had done to protect the Israelites. She knew that the God of Israel was a God worthy to be served, worshiped, and honored. And as soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for the Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath. LHF#55 :Roster Rally / Testimony Time

I ran across this list a few days ago. It is a wonderful testimony of ways God is showing His love, keeping His promises, and growing His church during the current pandemic.
